Bali
6 Days · 7 Nights
Bali is ruined by itineraries that visit six regions in a week. This departure uses two bases only: Ubud for the ridges and temples, then a beach in the south or on the west coast. The drive between them happens once.
Enquire on this departureHighlights
- Ubud nights among the rice terraces, not above a main-road shop
- A terrace walk at Jatiluwih or Tegallalang, chosen for the month’s crowds
- One temple visit — Tirta Empul or Uluwatu — done properly
- A beach base with a day that has no booking on it
Good to know
- December rain comes in bursts. Outdoor plans are written with a covered alternative.
- Villa versus hotel is a real choice here. The quote will say which, and whether the pool is private.
- Temple dress codes are not optional. We say so before you pack.
An indicative flow
How the days usually sit.
This is the rhythm we recommend. It is not a contract. Weather, opening hours, and your flights will move a day, and the final plan is written after we speak.

Ubud
Three or four nights up-country
Arrival transfer from Ngurah Rai. The first full day is the terraces and a long lunch. A second day is the temple and a village compound, with the afternoon free.

The move
One drive to the coast
A single transfer to the beach hotel. We do not stop at five attractions on the way. The drive is the drive.

The coast
Swim, and one optional outing
Most of the beach time is unscheduled. A boat to Nusa Penida is offered only to groups who accept an early start and a full day; it is never slipped in as a surprise.
