Who we are
52 Weekends Travel Club (“the Club”, “we”, “us”) plans curated luxury holidays, community group travel, meetings and incentives, flights, hotels, and visa support. For privacy requests, write to Journey@52weekendsclub.com or call +91 95827 25555.
What this policy covers
This policy applies when you browse this website, send an enquiry through the contact form, or write, call, or message the desk about a trip. It does not replace the privacy notices of airlines, hotels, visa centres, insurers, or payment providers. When you deal with them directly, their notices apply to the information they collect.
This website does not ask you to create an account. Sending an enquiry is not a confirmed booking.
What data we get
Information you give us
If you use the enquiry form, we ask for your full name, email address, mobile number, travel date, and the number of adults, children, and infants. You may also tell us which departure or offering you are interested in, and add a short note. If you later ask us to arrange travel, we may need passport details, traveller names as they appear on passports, meal or room preferences, company billing details, and documents a visa application requires. Please do not send passport scans or payment card numbers through the public enquiry form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the server that hosts this site may record technical logs when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and the browser type. We use those logs to keep the site running and to investigate misuse. We do not use them to build an advertising profile.
Information from the trip itself
If a booking goes ahead, suppliers may send us confirmations, tickets, vouchers, and visa appointment updates that include the traveller details needed to complete the arrangement.
What we use it for
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
- To arrange the flights, stays, transfers, meetings, group departures, or visa support you asked for.
- To send you a copy of the enquiry, and later the practical messages a booking needs: timings, documents, changes, and invoices.
- To meet tax, accounting, and legal record-keeping duties.
- To protect the desk and our travellers against fraud, abuse of the form, and unlawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your enquiry to place you on a rented mailing list. If we ever send a general note about a departure, it will go only to people who have asked to hear from us, and it will include a way to stop.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as far as the trip, the law, or the protection of the desk requires.
- Our mail provider. Enquiry messages are sent through Gmail. The contents of the form are therefore processed by Google as our email provider, under its own terms.
- Suppliers. When you ask us to book, we pass the details that supplier needs to airlines, hotels, destination managers, transport companies, venues, insurers, and visa application centres, including VFS Global where that centre handles the application. If the trip is outside India, those suppliers may be outside India.
- Trade platforms. Fares and rooms may be booked through distribution desks we work with, such as TBO, TripJack, Cleartrip’s agent tools, and myBiz. Those platforms receive the booking data their systems require.
- Professional advisers. Accountants, auditors, or lawyers, where a record or a dispute requires it.
- Authorities. Where a law, a court, or a government request requires disclosure, or where disclosure is needed to prevent harm or fraud.
A change in how the Club is organised, such as a transfer of the business, may include a transfer of enquiry and booking records to the successor, who will be required to handle them for the same purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we are working on the request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you continue the conversation. If a booking is made, we keep the file for as long as tax, accounting, insurance, or dispute rules require, and then delete it or reduce it to what those rules still need. Server logs are kept for a shorter operational period set by the host.
Security
We limit access to enquiry mail to the people on the desk who need it, and we send the form over an encrypted connection. Email is not a perfect channel. Do not put card numbers, passwords, or full identity documents in the form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise that it is.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep. You may object to a use that is not required for a booking or for the law. You may also withdraw the consent you gave when you sent the form; withdrawing it does not undo a booking that has already been made with a supplier.
Write to Journey@52weekendsclub.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you before we act. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within any period the law sets. Some information has to be kept even after a deletion request, for example a tax invoice or a record of a payment.
You can choose not to give us information. Without a name, a contact, and a travel date we cannot prepare a useful reply. Without traveller details we cannot complete a booking.
Children
This website is aimed at adults arranging travel. The enquiry form asks how many children and infants are in the party. It does not ask for a child’s name. Please do not send a child’s identity documents through the public form. If a booking needs those details later, we will ask for them through a direct exchange and only to the extent a supplier or a visa requires them. If you believe we have received a child’s information by mistake, write to us and we will delete it where the law allows.
Users in India
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 together with its rules, may give you rights to know what we process, to correct or erase personal data, to raise a grievance, and to nominate someone to exercise rights if you cannot. To use those rights, email Journey@52weekendsclub.com. We do not sell personal data. We do not use this website for targeted advertising. Nothing in this policy limits a right that the law says cannot be limited.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file a site can store on your browser. This website does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or social-media tracking cookies. We do not run a cookie banner because we are not asking you to accept optional tracking. The host may keep ordinary server logs, described above. Your browser may also store nothing at all from this site. You can control cookies in the browser’s settings; because we do not rely on them for the enquiry form, the form will still work if you block cookies.
Pages on this site link to Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps, and email. If you follow those links, those services collect information under their own policies. The Instagram link is to our profile. The map link opens a search for the Club’s name.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change in a way that matters. The date at the top of the policy is the date of the current version. Continuing to use the site after an update means you have the new page available to you. If a change affects an enquiry we are already handling, we will tell you by email where that is reasonable.
Questions
Questions about this policy, or a complaint about how an enquiry was handled, can be sent to Journey@52weekendsclub.com or made by telephone on +91 95827 25555. If you are in India and you are not satisfied with our response, you may also approach the grievance channels provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, once those channels apply to your request.
